Dr Sheinkop is a board certified in orthopedics and director of the orthopedic program at Weil Foot-Ankle & Orthopedics. He is a leading authority on the treatment of patients with complex hip and knee disorders, and is well known for his pioneering use of computer-assisted navigation, minimally-invasive technologies and hip resurfacing techniques. He is a professor emeritus in the Department of Orthopedics at Rush University and an active lecturer and educator.He has done extensive research in the fields of uni-compartmental, minimally invasive solutions, hip resurfacing systems, and navigated arthroplasty. His current interest is rejuvenative cellular medicine and platelet rich plasma.

Thanks Dr Shienkop, for always looking out for the patients best interest. This was well demonstrated during my initial visit. You have helped changed my mind about the possibilities and approaches available for osteoarthritic care. Research is the key and hopefully this will lead to less invasive approaches for helping people heal and regain their lives.
